Be aware if you, or a Family member, are considering 'The Peninsula' in Sidney, B.C., as a Assisted Living retirement residence. The British Columbia Government, Assisted Living Registry, has recently completed an investigation, and has found The Peninsula to be Non-Compliant to the regulations. See Complaint # C2023-530. Management and Staff failed to develop an 'Exit Plan' as required, in association with the tennant, family, and others as noted, and forced an immediate, uncaring, and non-professional EVICTION.&nbsp; We simply received a phone call to come and pick up our aging mother 'right now'. How caring is that? Our Family do not recommend The Peninsula.
